To make and keep a forum, it doesn't only cost dedication, love and lots of creativity, but also money. To keep this fanclub going and ensuring everyone of its happiness and advantages, Shades of Jae'd needs donators to have a chance to grow and spread more happiness. How will the money be put to use? Eventhough the forum is powered by Zetaboards (which is free), it doesn't mean that we won't be needing some money to fund the forum operation. To make the forum clean, we decided to make it advertisement-free. But this isn't an option in Zetaboards that can only be disabled easily. It costs money to make it ad-free. As we will be expecting a lot of members, pageviews will increase more, decreasing the points until you see ads again. So this is one of the major factors that we need donations from members. But there are also some that we need funding of too. - SoJ Projects (cost of shipping, materials, etc. that are essential to the projects) - Upgrades for forum operation (shoutbox upgrade, etc.) - Future SoJ merchandise How can you be positive that the donations are only for SoJ-related operations? Trust us when we say that the money will definitely be used only for SoJ-related things. We have created a Paypal account for Shades of Jae'd only that is being monitored by the Founder, Global Mod, and Head of GD so you know that there won't be any shady business going on. The money spent from the donations will be posted here; prints or scans of receipts and invoices. What will you get in return? We appreciate everyone for being part of the SoJ family and of course, people who will donate must be given something in return. Here are the things that you can get: - Bset (avatar+banner) of your choice that will be made by the GD team - You will have a Jade ranking which means you will be able to view all the forums without having to reach any specific post count. How to donate? Go to the NEWSBOX -> Donations -> Click on the button. It will bring you to a paypal form. Please follow the instructions written in the form to donate ^^ Make sure to mention your username in the forums or post here that you donated. We will confirm it first and contact you ASAP. Any other form will be considered in the near future.
